昆明索菲特大酒店，原来是昆明的第一高楼，酒店的内部设计和管理堪称一流。大堂的顶部装饰有一条巨大的红绸带造型，宛如一条巨龙在空中飞翔，房间也很宽敞，客厅估计都有好几十平方，浴缸的位置极佳，边泡边欣赏滇池西山美景，真的太治愈了。酒店最出彩的无疑是49楼的早餐，几乎可以俯瞰整个昆明市区。菜品丰富到不知道该吃什么才好，布置、摆盘、档口等都非常有腔调。服务也很不错，从门童到餐厅服务员都非常热情周到，就是早餐厅有个大个子领导模样的男人，操着带点港湾腔的普通话，大声的训斥着服务生，让人看着倒胃口。

昆明价格最高的自助餐，餐厅位于酒店49层，全落地窗设计，无论坐哪个区域视野都不错。这里已经来过两次了，其实高端酒店自助菜品大同小异，主要是冲着环境来，毕竟看着日落和高空城景吃饭心情愉悦。        上次来感觉它家服务和菜品不如洲际，这回总体有所改善，品种还是挺丰富的，果汁比洲际多，甜点颜值比洲际稍差，味道还可以。其它菜品中规中矩，泉水牛肉调料很好吃，肥牛也不限量，希望一直保留。         订位要求看日落的方向，结果却安排了城景的位置，虽然同意调换，但不符合五星级酒店的服务标准。
